Site Manager Cute FTP 5.0 XP's Site Manager provides an easy way to store FTP site usernames, passwords and addresses. It's like speed dial for your FTP sites! Quick Connect URL Bar This Quick Connect bar lets you enter FTP URLs, including username and password, much like you would in your Web-browser. URL Parsing/Pasting Cute FTP 5.0 XP allows you to copy URLs directly from the Windows clipboard and paste them into Cute FTP for quick connections to FTP hosts. URL Monitoring Cute FTP 5.0 XP can monitor the Windows clipboard for FTP urls. If it detects one, it can automatically connect and download the intended file. Smart Keep Alive Once connected, Cute FTP 5.0 XP helps you stay connected. This feature offers completely customizable anti-idle options, including: time to start, random time interval, a customizable commands list, auto-reconnect and obtain new IP address options. Cute FTP 5.0 XP also supports toolbar button, menu based and keyboard based transfers. Site to Site Transfers This popular features allows you to transfer files from one remote server to another, vastly increasing the file transfer speed by bypassing your computer altogether. Resume Transfers Cute FTP 5.0 XP can resume downloading of incomplete files. This works with all FTP sites that support this feature. Even resume a partial transfer after a power outage. Scheduled Transfers Cute FTP 5.0 XP's scheduler lets you schedule current or saved queues for later transfer. You can also select actions for after a scheduled event has completed, and reschedule currently selected queued items. Transfer Queue Cute FTP 5.0 XP has a robust queue management system. You can select multiple files from various directories and sites and queue them for later transfer. Queued transactions may also be edited, saved, re-prioritized, and scheduled. Transfer Modes Cute FTP 5.0 XP can automatically detect the best method for transferring files. However, it allows you to customize the handling of certain file extensions. Navigating folders on your remote server is as easy as navigating through folders on your Windows Desktop or Explorer. Folder Management Cute FTP 5.0 XP lets you create new folders, rename existing ones, and delete unused folders. You can view a folder's properties and perform standard operations, such as Cut, Copy, and Paste. Folder Bookmarks This feature is similar to the favorites or bookmark feature in your browser. You can bookmark one or more folder paths on a per-site basis, and later return to those paths by selecting the bookmark. Default Folder Options Cute FTP 5.0 XP lets you specify a default folder for placing your downloads. You can also specify a default remote folder, so when you connect, Cute FTP will automatically switch to the chosen folder. Folder and File Links Cute FTP 5.0 XP can handle UNIX style links with ease. Various configuration options help you identify links as well as determine how they should be traversed when returning from a visited link. Filtered Folder Listings Cute FTP 5.0 XP's Global Filter Mask allows you to hide or show specific file types in your remote or local window. This lets you quickly identify and transfer a single item or group of similar items from a large folder listing. You can also quickly select or deselect items with the Select All, Group Select, Group Deselect, and Invert Selection features. Folder Listing Options Cute FTP 5.0 XP helps you navigate and display listings quickly and efficiently. A toggle for showing generic icons helps when retrieving large folder listings. You can also determine whether file sizes are displayed in bytes, or kilobytes. Cute FTP 5.0 XP can also remember your sort and column settings for remote and local listings. Display Options Cute FTP 5.0 XP's display options include the ability to change colors and fonts, produce sounds on certain events, toggle between show and hide of the splash screen, toolbar text, quick connect bar, and more.
